Recording
Come and record in one of the finest studios in London. Master Chord Studio is built to be as flexible as possible with a Control Room, large Live Room and four booths with different dimensions and acoustics.
The legendary SSL 4040 G+ Computer Console is the centrepiece of the Control Room, seamlessly communicating with ProTools, allowing our engineers to really get the best out of your sound. A brand new Steinway & Sons “Model D” Pianoforte is at the heart of the 55m² Live Room which sounds fantastic for both pop and classical recording alike. A vast collection of microphones and preamps are available for use which are included in all studio bookings. The breadth and quality of the equipment and facilities allows all genres to be recorded here effectively.
Editing
Editing your music at Master Chord Studio is a reliable, comfortable and enjoyable experience. Skilled engineers will be on hand to assist and advise. A Mac, preinstalled with ProTools and many industry standard plugins, is available for use.
Your comfort is a priority with heating/cooling via filtered fresh air systems, noiseless and high quality LED lighting systems, fully adjustable Herman Miller chairs and carefully designed bespoke acoustic solutions.
Mixing
Mixing on the SSL 4040 G+ Computer Console is an absolute pleasure, due to the high channel count and well thought out layout and routing. It’s the preferred choice of many top engineers for a reason! The monitoring options are extensive with the ability to mix in both stereo and 5.1 surround sound on ATC SLM110A (L/R/C) and ATC SCM25A Pro speakers, in addition to the classic Yamaha NS-10s for nearfield referencing.
The Control Room itself has extra low noise systems and an extremely accurate, neutral and homogeneous acoustic, so you can be sure you’re hearing your mix exactly as it should sound.
